December 12 - provoking the man at Statoil
It was late, past 11 at night, and probably -11 outside. I walked in to Statoil and bought an ice cream and walked out with it. I wonder what the man serving me thought! It was funny.
December 11 - eight freaking hours of programming!
I do not want to talk about it.
By the way, it is Saturday.
December 10 - BBQ premiere and Christmas party
December 9 - Christmas concert in Domkyrkan
December 8 - late night walk
I decided to take a walk around the neighborhood before going to bed. It was nice to get some air. I walked by a buliding with housing for students that I never had payed attention to before. When I peeked in throgh one of the doors I saw bikes! Each door had a hook outside made for hanging up the bike. Really clever. Those bikes must be feeling so much better that mine. I feel like a bad bike owner leaving my bike outside all snowy and cold.
December 7 - preparing grill presentation for Friday
Anna-Giulia put together this with Photoshop. The image is constructed out of four photos. Pretty cool right?
December 6 - Mr. Nobody
We were finally able to make it to one of the movie club meetings. All the previous Mondays we have had programming labs. I really hope that I will be able to see more movies next semester. The spring semester schedule contains most of the movies Anna-Giulia and I wanted(but did not have time) to see at the Norrköping film festival!
December 5 - sketching
(this was last week) but it all started with the shoes ;)
After today I think that I am ready to turn it in on Wednesday.
Anna-Giulia is a pro. It is great to have her nearby telling me where I need more light and such.
December 4 - Neopets
December 3 - the grill is finished!!
December 2 - a neat possible Christmas present
December 1 - man, it is cold outside
When I woke up this morning the thermometer said -24 C. I thought something was wrong with it until I went outside myself. It felt like my nosehair froze on the way to school. It was a funny feeling. -24 degrees Celcius must be negative Fahrenheit as well.
Yes, I looked it up, -11 F!!
November 30 - when no one feel like doing the dishes
November 29 - Wintersweet fika
November 28 - first Sunday of advent
The skumtomte experiment
Before and after the microwave oven
November 27 - Christmas market in Old Linköping
Maja and I took a walk to Old Linköping. The old houses were pretty with all the snow. It was like a idyll. A choir was singing and there was a scent of suger coated almonds in the air from one of the market stands (you could also smell fish from one, but that is another story).
November 26 - shopping down town
The best buy was a pair of gloves that you can wear down to -30. I was tired of getting cold hands. Now I am ready for a really cold Winter!
November 25 - A-G's birthday
I got up extra early to suprise Anna-Giulia with a cake.
I did not have any candles but there is one physalis for each year :)
November 24 - manifestation in order to maintain the long Christmas break
November 23 - another snowfall
When I was going home today after the last lecture my lock to the bike had frozen. The key went in and all but I was unable to turn it. I gave up quite quickly becauce my hands became really cold, which made it harder. I was far from the only one with the same problem, but some lucky bastards where able to ride their bikes home in the snow. I wonder what kind of locks they have, maybe they had some special tric or perhaps they just are stronger than me. Anna-Giulia thought we should invent a new lock that works no matter the what weather it is.
