Tired but happy :)

It is so peaceful here. I have been listening to bird twittering and waves hitting the shore. Right now I love it. I have missed Rossö. I do not think that I have been here since August. I am just afraid I might get bored after a while. There is like noone here. All summer guests will not come for several weeks. I have brought a ton of books, water colors, stationaty and the trampoline for my entertainment. We will see. I might be exhausted after work and not feel like doing anything.

We still have lots of left overs from Wednesday. I had cake for breakfast ^^ but what do I do with an ice cream container filled with tapenade. It is too much. Way too much. What were we thinking?

I picked up our new car that I get to drive this summer. I miss the stick shift but otherwise it is great to drive. It is comfy, quiet and it has an outlet where I can plug in my Mp3 player :D

Another Monday sailing adventure. Twice as many people as last Monday showed up -Fun!  And more wind brought us even more fun. The boat leaned a lot towards the end when we were sick-sacking! Scary darey :) Before that we made sure to sail with the wind long enough to have time for coffee and cookies. The guys remembered (Eric with Maja's help) that it was their turn to pack snacks :)


It is also Sara's 20th b-day. Happy Birthday to her!

Oh, yeah! We cramed the other team. 11-1 and no I did not score any goals. But, hey I am a defender. Someone need to pass the others so that they can score. I would like to get at least one goal in though before the season is over. The next game is on friday. It might be my last game before summer since I start working next Monday, two hours away. It sucks that I am going to miss practices and games!

We have been moving furniture around in order to fit 35 people on Wednesday. Hopefully they will not all come at the same time. As of right now the weather forecast predicts 50-55 degrees so we can probably not sit outside. Why can not today's weather stay a little longer? We have silver wear and the table clothes are ironed. Tomorrow we are picking up glasses at a friend of mom's. What else? I need to remember to buy pine nuts. I need it for one of the dishes.

My dad is in a very stressful work period right now. Since I do not need to be in school I have been helping him out. It feels really good to be able to do that. And to make mom happy, I ironed some of her clothes and cleaned the kithchen. Hopefully it will be a happy surprice for her tomorrow morning. My parents do so much for me. I need to become better at helping them out too!

I just talked to Karin on the phone. She got a job at the same place as I am going to work this summer!! We are going to have so much fun and neither of us need to alone in Strömstad :D


OH, and it turns out that I do not have any more classes! Instead of going to Physics tomorrow, Caroline and I signed up for guarding our exhibition at the city library (come and check it out!). We picked a time so that we do not have chance to get back to school before the class is over. You cannot be stupid ;)

Now I am done! I did not have to do the last test becauce it would not have affected my grade. I have turned in everything that needs to be turned in. Or I am turning in my last books tomorrow but that is it! AH! Insane! I am happy. I am very happy about most things right now :D In school today I recieved two VGs (Physics and Religion)and tree MVGs (History, Art and Swedish). I was not sure about my grade in History and Art was a happy suprise. I need to remember to bring all my drawings home some day. I wonder how many more lessons I have now. It cannot be many. I know that I have two tomorrow and one on Wednesday, but after that?? Hm, I will have to ask during class tomorrow.

Last year I drew and painted cards for all the graduates. I really enjoy creating cards.  It is relaxing and fun at the same time. I can do it for hours. With the help of a hairdryer I do not have to wait very long for the paint to dry inbetween colors. It keeps me from getting impatient ;)

Now, we have been to Barcelona. Prom is over, the whole school year is almost over. I just have one more test left which I cannot get myself to study for. I do not feel motivated. It is like I am already set on "vaccation mode" Somehow it is easier to study under pressure. I do not get it.

Oh, well. Tomorrow I have to study whether or not I feel like it.

I have started to read the Twilight series. I know that I am a little after everyone else. Sara gave me the first book as a delayed birthday present. I started it on the bus to Barcelona so I am about 200 pages in now. I just wish that I had not seen the movie already. It would have been more fun that way, not knowing what what is going to happen. Reading it is still different though.

I like reading but I find it hard to find time for it during the school year. I have a pile of books that I would like to read waiting for me. Maria lended me three books before she left for college. I have only read two of them and that was nine months ago. I am definitely going to bring the pile with me to the summer house. Being there by myself will give my plenty of time to read :)

Spent all day on facebook waiting for people to upload prom pictures. I guess that they had better things to do than I. Come on people, give a sick person someting to look at!!
