February 28 - 2do lists

3 out of 4 things on my "to do" list for this past week are done. I have to be satisfied. The most important thing is done at least. I have a draft for my Swedish speach.

Here is a new "to do" list for next week:

* Call my optrician becauce I have been having a lot of headaches lately
* Write about corrugated paper for the Construction project
* Finish my moose checker for the chess
* Sell two idrottsrabbaten, 100 kr a piece if someone is interested ;)
* Go get a hair cut. It feels like it is about time. I might be able to get discount somewhere with idrottsrabatten.
Apply for a job at Audi that I found in the paper this morning
* Finish a scholarship application. The scholarship is awarded for diligence and good knowledge. So hey, let's give it a shot.

February 27 - umbrella

One of my favorite English words is umbrella. I really do not know why. I think that I just like the sound of it.

I know how Kanin and I compeated once which one of us who knew the most English words. We must have been little. I remember that she knew the word umbrella and I did not, which made me jealous. If I remember correctly her grandma had taught it to her.

--> Emily and Maria gave me an umbrella like this for Christmas a few years back. I like how it is different. There is a romantic feeling to it, is it not?

February 26 - Pam's birthday :)

I wanted to mail my slelf in a package across the Atlantic, but it did not work out. As a result I had to celebrate Pam's b-day with out Pam. It was solved with pankakes and Maja :) A fabulous way to end the school week!

I love Fridays. I wonder if my birthday is on a Friday this year...

February 25 - soreness

Cleates injury that I dokumented with my camera last year.

February 24 - Kexchoklad

Delicious. Kexchoklad must be the best snack when you are out skiing(or nutella is not bad either, like they give you in Norway). Have you seen the "go och glad, kexchoklad" hats? I want one!

February 22 - traffic problems

"SJ AB becomes BAJS backward" - facebook status from two of my friends who are stuck in Stockholm
The trains are not movings and busses are everything but reliable. Almost half of my class did not show for school today. I had to wait for 35 minutes for mine this morning. It was soo cold! After a while when I had troubel moving my feet I got a feeling simular to panic. I became desperate and was willing to take any bus, no matter where it was going. I just wanted to become warm again. I hope it won't happen again tomorrow. I might take thermopants and woll socks to be safe.

February 20 - back in the snow

Turns out that I have not been to Africa. The Sinai Peninsula belongs to Asia. Now I am back in the snow and it is snowing like crazy. I measured the snow's heigh up to my hip. It is hard to understand that, only 24 hours ago, I was swimming in The Red Sea.

February 10 - frutarian?

Bloody orange - probably not the correct English word. Direct translation does not work all the time.

Frutarians? I could easily be a frutarian. Do they excist? I have only heard the term once, in the movie Notting Hill. I do not think that it is a very reliable source. In the long term, would it really work to only eat fruit? Would you be able to get all vitamins and minerals you need, and what about protein and fat?

Karin told me that you will cover your needs by just eating eggs and citrus. That sounds more reasonable. I might try it sometimes just for fun.

Fried, boiled... what else can you do with eggs? I take fun back. Just eggs and citrus fruits would become dull in the long run.

February 9 - a shopping afternoon

In October I tried on a top that I really liked. Unfortunately they did not have my size. They said that they were going to get more sizes the following week... but they did not. I think that I went there at least once a week in November. Then I forgot about it. But now, TODAY, they had it :D One week is not the same as three months. Liars!

I must have had a lucky day or something. A pair of shoes that I have been craving since December were on sale, 50% off the already reduced price.

Look! ^^

I also bought sunglasses (very useful for next week), b-day presents for upcoming birthdays and some jewellry.

I have not dared to look at my accont statements yet. Ugh. Hopefully I am fine.

February 8 - I like both

Winter from a window at the fifth floor at school..

I think it is pretty. I like watching the ice drifting by. Sometimes it looks like the ice is moveing super fast (exageration, but it is moveing faster than you would think).

However, on Friday and the following week there will not be any snow for me. We are going to Egypt, EGYPT! It is in freaking Africa. I am so excited :D

February 7 - can I (not) draw?

After a few successful art lessons I thought that I was a brilliant artist. I thought that I really could draw. This has happened in the past too. I sit down, filled with confidence and set to create a masterpiece. Then, then the drawing turns out all crappy! What the…!?! Every time I get equally disappointed in my ability:(

February 6 - watching a Spiderman movie

Haha. I am watching Spiderman 2. Not what I had imagined. We were supposed to play pool tonight.

It is the second time this week that I am seeing a movie with Tobey Maguire. Wednesday I saw Brothers at the Filmfestival. It is neat seeing the same actor in two such different roles.

I got to catch up with Pam :) It had been a while.
It bothers me that I am forgetting words, simple words like robe.

February 4 - Obsessive Compulsory Disorder

I am watching a documentary about OCD. It is very interesting. Somehow these people are trapped with their obcessive thought. I wonder if I have any obsessive thoughts..

How does it start?

Ahh, I cannot watch anymore. Their time consuming rituals are making me frustrated!

Emma served soup. You have to love the color. I think of Shrek's swamp. However it was quite delicious :)

February 2 - a bunch of snow has covered the ice

Ok, so I am seriously concidering taking the skis to school tomorrow. Ice skating was more of a joke. But skiing would actually work. I did ski to Maja's hous once. That is about the same distance as it would be to the ferry station (my school is on the other side of the river).

--> When I skiied to Maja's house (3 years ago?). I remember it started to rain on the way so I had to walk the last part. As you can see in the picture it was not even much snow from the beginning. It was probably above freezing.

February 1 - done needs to be done

I want a job where you are done when your eight hours or so are over. School just continues with homeworks when the day is over. Then I would rahter be in school until we are completely done!  Today we spent four and a half hour at a café studying. The café was kind of crowded. Somehow all the other people had time to sit there, chatting and enjoying a cup of coffe. I wanted to ask them what they were working with.
